Feeling rather chuffed...

I got a mention in The Work Shop on the Web website for a piece of my work (www.workshopontheweb.com)

Created using Maggie Grey's 'Delicious Decay' Kit

They provide free taster issues of Workshop on the Web which is entirely free and unrestricted. To view it, click the free taster button on the website see web address above. Future issues can be accessed by subscribers through a password. They promise that each issue will have at least seven workshop features, an interview with a well-known embroiderer plus other articles of general interest. Also, products - not just what's new but how to use them, book reviews, news and views. All for £20.00 pounds for a whole year's subscription.

Workshop on the Web, is a publication exclusive to the internet, featuring some of the very best tutors from all points of the compass, giving step-by-step details of textile techniques and ideas for using those techniques creatively. Machine embroidery, hand stitching, mixed media work etc. They also review books and products and keep you in touch with all that's new.

The latest issue has just been published and looks vey exciting. I have just placed an ordered my new kit, 'Getting Down to the Nitty Gritty', using sand texture gel by Samantha Packer. I cannot wait to try it out...
