Quilts/Sewing

My first quilt...

A quilt made for a very good friend....

My latest project using Transfer Paint - see Blog Post 25/08/13, and my second attempt at free motion machine stitching.

These were my very first attempts at Transfer Painting and and Free Motion Machine Stitching

This is a work in progress I am making a quilt for both my daughters from fabric that Michelle brought back from her recent trip to Ghana. The quilt is based on a pattern from the website allpeoplequilt.com and is called the Candy Cane Quilt.

A purchase from the Quilting Festival at The NEC, Birmingham. A lovely Holly Leaf Garland Kit from Springwood Designs. Lovely simple instructions and it was a pleasure to make.

These I also made from a selection of designs from Sarah Wellfair of Goose Chase Quilting from her book Simply Gifts. The bottom of those pots were a bit of a beast!

This little kit my daughter Lauren bought for me at The Festival of Quilts the panels are based on pictures from Jane Austin books. You can purchase the Regency Panels and Jane Austin Library Panels and kits from www.quilterstradingpost.com
